彼らは黙っていた。それは途中で、だれが一ばん偉いかと、互に論じ合っていたからである。そこで、イエスはすわって十二弟子を呼び、そして言われた、「だれでも一ばん先になろうと思うならば、一ばんあとになり、みんなに仕える者とならねばならない」。 ■ みな互に謙遜を身につけなさい。神は高ぶる者をしりぞけ、へりくだる者に恵みを賜うからである。だから、あなたがたは、神の力強い御手の下に、自らを低くしなさい。時が来れば神はあなたがたを高くして下さるであろう。 [マルコ9:34,35 | 1ペテ5:5,6]

キリスト・イエスにあっていだいているのと同じ思いを、あなたがたの間でも互に生かしなさい。キリストは、･･･おのれをむなしうして僕のかたちをとり、人間の姿になられた。･･･それゆえに、神は彼を高く引き上げ、すべての名にまさる名を彼に賜わった。それは、イエスの御名によって、･･･あらゆるものがひざをかがめるためである。 [ピリピ2:5-11]

賢い者は、大空の輝きのように輝き、また多くの人を義に導く者は、星のようになって永遠にいたるでしょう。 [ダニ12:3]

February 2, Evening

One star differeth from another star in glory. [I Cor.15:41]

By the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest. And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all. ■ Be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. [Mark.9:34,35 | I Pet.5:5,6]

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow. [Phi.2:5-7,9,10]

They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righeousness as the stars for ever and ever. [Dan.12:3]
