彼[キリスト]は、万物をご自身に従わせうる力の働きによって、わたしたちの卑しいからだを、ご自身の栄光のからだと同じかたちに変えて下さるであろう。 [ピリ3:20,21]

その位の形の上に、人の姿のような形があった。そしてその腰とみえる所の上の方に、火の形のような光る青銅の色のものが、これを囲んでいるのを見た。わたしはその腰とみえる所の下の方に、火のようなものを見た。そして彼のまわりに輝きがあった。･･･主の栄光の形のさまは、このようであった。 [エゼ1:26-28]

わたしたちはみな、顔おおいなしに、主の栄光を鏡に映すように見つつ、栄光から栄光へと、主と同じ姿に変えられていく。 ■ わたしたちがどうなるのか、まだ明らかではない。彼が現れる時、わたしたちは、自分たちが彼に似るものとなることを知っている。そのまことの御姿を見るからである。 [2コリ3:18 | 1ヨハ3:2]

January 26, Evening

The Lord Jesus Christ ... shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body. [Phi.3:20,21]

Upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. [Ezek.1:26-28]

We all, with open face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. ■ It doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more. ■ They sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb. [Rev.7:16 | Rev.15:3]
