良きぶどうの木。 [創49:11]

わが愛する者は土肥えた小山の上に、一つのぶどう畑をもっていた。彼はそれを掘りおこし、石を除き、それに良いぶどうを植え、･･･良いぶどうの結ぶのを待ち望んだ。ところが結んだものは野ぶどうであった。 ■ わたしはあなたを、まったく良い種のすぐれたぶどうの木として植えたのに、どうしてあなたは変って、悪い野ぶどうの木となったのか。 [イザ5:1,2 | エレ2:21]

肉の働きは明白である。すなわち、不品行、汚れ、好色、･･･ねたみ、泥酔、宴楽、および、そのたぐいである。･･･しかし、御霊の実は、愛、喜び、平和、寛容、慈愛、善意、忠実、柔和、自制であるない。 [ガラ5:19-23]

わたしはまことのぶどうの木、わたしの父は農夫である。わたしにつながっている枝で実を結ばないものは、父がすべてこれをとりのぞき、実を結ぶものは、もっと豊かに実らせるために、手入れしてこれをきれいになさるのである。わたしにつながっていなさい。そうすれば、わたしはあなたがたとつながっていよう。･･･あなたがたが実を豊かに結び、そしてわたしの弟子となるならば、それによって、わたしの父は栄光をお受けになるであろう。 [ヨハ15:1,2,4,8]

The choice vine. [Gen.49:11]

My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: and he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, ... and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. ■ Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me. [Isa.5:1,2 | Jer.2:21]

The works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, ... envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: ... but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. [Gal.5:19,21-23]

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you ... Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. [John.15:1,2,4,8]
