主の名を呼び求める者は、みな救われるであろう。 [使2:21]

マナセは主がイスラエルの人々の前から追い払われた国々の民の憎むべきおこないにならって、主の目の前に悪をおこなった。･･･バアルのために祭壇を築き、･･･主の宮の二つの庭に天の万象のために祭壇を築いた。 ■ またその子を火に焼いてささげ物とし、占いをし、魔術を行い、口寄せと魔法使を用い、主の目の前に多くの悪を行って、主の怒りを引き起した。 ■ 彼（マナセ）は悩みにあうに及んで、その神、主に願い求め、その先祖の神の前に大いに身を低くして、神に祈ったので、神はその祈を受けいれた。 [2列21:2,3 | 2列21:5,6 | 2歴33:12,13]

主は言われる、さあ、われわれは互に論じよう。たといあなたがたの罪は緋のようであっても、雪のように白くなるのだ。紅のように赤くても、羊の毛のようになるのだ。 ■ 主は、ただ、ひとりも滅びることがなく、すべての者が悔改めに至ることを望み、あなたがたに対してながく忍耐しておられるのである。 [イザ1:18 | 2ペテ3:9]

November 25, Evening

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall he saved. [Acts.2:21]

Manasseh did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, and he reared up altars for Baal. And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord. ■ And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. ■ And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication.
