正しい者の道は、夜明けの光のようだ、いよいよ輝きを増して真昼となる。 [箴4:18]

わたしがすでにそれを得たとか、すでに完全な者になっているとか言うのではなく、ただ捕えようとして追い求めているのである。そうするのは、キリスト・イエスによって捕えられているからである。 ■ わたしたちは主を知ろう、せつに主を知ることを求めよう。 [ピリ3:12 | ホセ6:3]

そのとき、義人たちは彼らの父の御国で、太陽のように輝きわたる。 ■ わたしたちはみな、顔おおいなしに、主の栄光を鏡に映すように見つつ、栄光から栄光へと、主と同じ姿に変えられていく。これは霊なる主の働きによるのである。 ■ 全きものが来る時には、部分的なものはすたれる。 ■ わたしたちは、今は、鏡に映して見るようにおぼろげに見ている。しかしその時には、顔と顔とを合わせて、見るであろう。わたしの知るところは、今は一部分にすぎない。しかしその時には、わたしが完全に知られているように、完全に知るであろう。 ■ 愛する者たちよ。わたしたちは今や神の子である。しかし、わたしたちがどうなるのか、まだ明らかではない。彼が現れる時、わたしたちは、自分たちが彼に似るものとなることを知っている。そのまことの御姿を見るからである。彼についてこの望みをいだいている者は皆、彼がきよくあられるように、自らをきよくする。 [マタ13:43 | 2コリ3:18 | 1コリ13:10 | 1コリ13:12 | 1ヨハ3:2,3]

August 8, Morning

The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. [Prov.4:18]

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. ■ Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord. [Phi.3:12 | Hos.6:3]

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. ■ We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. ■ When that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. ■ For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. ■ Beloved, now are we the sons of God; and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
