真理の御霊が来る時には、あなたがたをあらゆる真理に導いてくれるであろう。それは自分から語るのではなく、その聞くところを語り、きたるべき事をあなたがたに知らせるであろう。御霊はわたしに栄光を得させるであろう。わたしのものを受けて、それをあなたがたに知らせるからである。 [ヨハ16:13,14]

The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name. [John.14:26]

If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. ■ If ye ... being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? ■ Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. When ... the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. [John.16:13,14]

They rebelled, and vexed his Holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and He fought against them. [Isa.63:10]
