ああ、主よ。イスラエルがすでに敵に背をむけた今となって、わたしはまた何を言い得ましょう。主はヨシュアに言われた、「立ちなさい。あなたはどうして、そのようにひれ伏しているのか。イスラエルは罪を犯し、･･･奉納物を取り、･･･それを自分の所有物のうちに入れた。 [ヨシ7:8,10,11]

見よ、主の手が短くて、救い得ないのではない。その耳が鈍くて聞き得ないのでもない。ただ、あなたがたの不義があなたがたと、あなたがたの神との間を隔てたのだ。またあなたがたの罪が主の顔をおおったために、お聞きにならないのだ。 [イザ59:1,2]

もしわたしが心に不義をいだいていたならば、主はお聞きにならないであろう。 [詩66:18]

愛する者たちよ。もし心に責められるようなことがなければ、わたしたちは神に対して確信を持つことができる。そして、願い求めるものは、なんでもいただけるのである。それは、わたしたちが神の戒めを守り、みこころにかなうことを、行っているからである。 [1ヨハ3:21,22]

O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies! and the Lord said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face? Israel hath sinned, for they have even taken of the accursed thing ... and they have put it even among their own stuff. [Josh.7:8,10,11]

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. [Isa.59:1,2]

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. [Psa.66:18]

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. [I John.3:21,22]
