火で精錬された金。 [黙3:18]

だれでもわたしのために、また福音のために、家、兄弟、姉妹、母、父、子、もしくは畑を捨てた者は、必ずその百倍を受ける。すなわち、今この時代では家、兄弟、姉妹、母、子および畑を迫害と共に受け、また、きたるべき世では永遠の生命を受ける。 [マル10:29,30]

愛する者たちよ。あなたがたを試みるために降りかかって来る火のような試錬を、何か思いがけないことが起ったかのように驚きあやしむことなく、 ■ 今しばらくのあいだは、さまざまな試錬で悩まねばならないかも知れないが、あなたがたは大いに喜んでいる。こうして、あなたがたの信仰はためされて、火で精錬されても朽ちる外はない金よりもはるかに尊いことが明らかにされ、イエス・キリストの現れるとき、さんびと栄光とほまれとに変るであろう。 [1ペテ4:12,13 | 1ペテ1:6,7]

あなたがたをキリストにある永遠の栄光に招き入れて下さったあふるる恵みの神は、しばらくの苦しみの後、あなたがたをいやし、強め、力づけ、不動のものとして下さるであろう。 ■ あなたがたは、この世ではなやみがある。しかし、勇気を出しなさい。わたしはすでに世に勝っている。 [1ペテ5:10 | ヨハ16:33]

Gold tried in the fire. [Rev.3:18]

There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. [Mark.10:29,30]

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. ■ Now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
