神の聖霊を悲しませてはいけない。あなたがたは、あがないの日のために、聖霊の証印を受けたのである。 [エペ4:30]

御霊の愛。 ■ 助け主、すなわち、･･･聖霊。 ■ 彼らのすべての悩みのとき、主も悩まれて、そのみ前の使をもって彼らを救い、その愛とあわれみとによって彼らをあがない、いにしえの日、つねに彼らをもたげ、彼らを携えられた。ところが彼らはそむいてその聖なる霊を憂えさせたので、主はひるがえって彼らの敵となり、みずから彼らと戦われた。 [ロマ15:30 | ヨハ14:26 | イザ63:9,10]

神が御霊をわたしたちに賜わったことによって、わたしたちが神におり、神がわたしたちにいますことを知る。 ■ あなたがたも、キリスト･･･を信じた結果、約束された聖霊の証印をおされたのである。この聖霊は、わたしたちが神の国をつぐことの保証であって、やがて神につける者が全くあがなわれるためである。 ■ わたしは命じる、御霊によって歩きなさい。そうすれば、決して肉の欲を満たすことはない。なぜなら、肉の欲するところは御霊に反し、また御霊の欲するところは肉に反するからである。こうして、二つのものは互に相さからい、その結果、あなたがたは自分でしようと思うことを、することができないようになる。 [1ヨハ4:13 | エペ1:13,14 | ガラ5:16,17]

Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. [Eph.4:30]

The love of the Spirit. ■ The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. ■ In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. [Rom.15:30 | John.14:26 | Isa.63:9,10]

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. ■ After that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of the inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession. ■ This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
