人の目から涙を全くぬぐいとって下さる。もはや、死もなく、悲しみも、叫びも、痛みもない。先のものが、すでに過ぎ去ったからである」。 [黙21:4]

主はとこしえに死を滅ぼし、主なる神はすべての顔から涙をぬぐい、その民のはずかしめを全地の上から除かれる。これは主の語られたことである。 ■ あなたの太陽は再び没せず、あなたの月はかけることがない。主がとこしえにあなたの光となり、あなたの悲しみの日が終るからである。 ■ そこに住む者のうちには、「わたしは病気だ」と言う者はなく、そこに住む民はその罪がゆるされる。 ■ 泣く声と叫ぶ声は再びその中に聞えることはない。 ■ 悲しみと嘆きとは逃げ去る。 [イザ25:8 | イザ60:20 | イザ33:24 | イザ65:19 | イザ35:10]

わたしは彼らを陰府の力から、あがなうことがあろうか。彼らを死から、あがなうことがあろうか。死よ、おまえの災はどこにあるのか。陰府よ、おまえの滅びはどこにあるのか。 ■ 最後の敵として滅ぼされるのが、死である。･･･聖書に書いてある言葉（死は勝利にのまれた）が成就するのである。 [ホセ13:14 | 1コリ15:26,54]

May 15, Morning

God shall wipe away all tears: ... there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, ... for the former things are passed away. [Rev.21:4]

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. ■ Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. ■ The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. ■ The voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. ■ Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
