悲しんでいるようであるが、常に喜んでおり、貧しいようであるが、多くの人を富ませ、何も持たないようであるが、すべての物を持っている。 [2コリ6:10]

わたしたちは、･･･神の栄光にあずかる希望をもって喜んでいる。それだけではなく、患難をも喜んでいる。 ■ わたしは･･･慰めを受け、あらゆる患難の中にあって喜びに満ちあふれている。 ■ あなたがたは、イエス・キリストを･･･信じて、言葉につくせない、輝きにみちた喜びにあふれている。 [ロマ5:2,3 | 2コリ7:4 | 1ペテ1:8]

すなわち、彼らは、患難のために激しい試錬をうけたが、その満ちあふれる喜びは、極度の貧しさにもかかわらず、あふれ出て惜しみなく施す富となったのである。 ■ すなわち、聖徒たちのうちで最も小さい者であるわたしにこの恵みが与えられたが、それは、キリストの無尽蔵の富を異邦人に宣べ伝え、更にまた、･･･神の中に世々隠されていた奥義にあずかる務がどんなものであるかを、明らかに示すためである。 [2コリ8:2 | エペ3:8,9]

神は、この世の貧しい人たちを選んで信仰に富ませ、神を愛する者たちに約束された御国の相続者とされたではないか。 ■ 神はあなたがたにあらゆる恵みを豊かに与え、あなたがたを常にすべてのことに満ち足らせ、すべての良いわざに富ませる力のあるかたなのである。 [ヤコ2:5 | 2コリ9:8]

April 7, Morning

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. [II Cor.6:10]

We ... rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also. ■ I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. ■ Believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. [Rom.5:2,3 | II Cor.7:4 | I Pet.1:8]

In a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. ■ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
