気をつけて、目をさましていなさい。その時がいつであるか、あなたがたにはわからないからである。それはちょうど、旅に立つ人が家を出るに当り、その僕たちに、それぞれ仕事を割り当てて責任をもたせ、門番には目をさましておれと、命じるようなものである。だから、目をさましていなさい。家の主人が･･･あるいは急に帰ってきて、あなたがたの眠っているところを見つけるかも知れない。目をさましていなさい。わたしがあなたがたに言うこの言葉は、すべての人々に言うのである。 [マルコ13:33-37]

I am ... the bright and morning Star. [Rev.22:16]

There shall come a star out of Jacob. [Num.24:17]

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. ■ Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bethel. [Rom.13:12 | Song.2:17]

Watchman, what of the night? The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come. [Isa.21:11,12]

I am the light of the world. ■ I will give him the morning star. [John.8:12 | Rev.2:28]

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
